The Xtreme Blue Compression Cutter is a high-performance milling tool designed for the modern manufacturer. It is the new standard of compression cutter utilizing nanotechnology, titanium carbide and innovative geometric design to give you the perfect cut.

Two wing cutters are ideal for machining laminated and veneered MDF and Plywood with optimum dust removal.

Extreme Blue is an innovative coating application technology that allows its special titanium coating to be applied at a thickness of 0.0008-0.001mm; less than half the thickness of more common coatings, such as DLC. Therefore, our router bits with Extreme Blue coatings have all the longevity benefits of a coating, with no reduction in the machined finish or increased stress on the cutter. In summary, Xtreme Blue bits have:

• Increased resistance to heat and impact
• Increased hardness
• The same sharp edge as uncoated bits

This is what allows Xtreme Blue coated bits to cut twice as many boards as regular uncoated cutters.

Compression Finishing bits are best suited for sizing and finishing, due to the up-and-down cut geometry, leaving a good finish on both the top and bottom of the component. With the spiral cutting edge, the cutting edge is continuously in contact with the component leaving a smooth, chatter-free finish.
